Pair of early Empire candelabra with winged loves and arrow in patinated and gilt bronze. This pair of Empire candelabra has two sconces decorated with griffin heads ending in winding. The candle holders have nicely chiseled decorations of palm leaves. Further, the central arrow-shaped shaft is held by the figure of a winged love holding the club of Hercules. It rests on a hexagonal base adorned with an applied decoration of palm leaves and a draped woman’s head....
