Pair of very decorative early 19th century chiselled gilt bronze French candlesticks. These richly decorated candlesticks have a fluted shaft and leafy taper. They rest on a capital composed of flowers and fruits. The round base has palmette motifs and the candlesticks have chased bronze gilded with mercury. Also these French candlesticks have their original mercury gilding and they are in a very good condition....
